The iphone screen is cracked but the LCD is still in tact. There is no reason to replace the LCD, so we can save the you money on the repair. On iPhone 7 and up, this can also save the touch ID feature.
In this guide we will be taking you through the process of refurbishing an iPhone screen step by step.
Step 1: Separating the broken glass from the undamaged LCD.
Step 2: After cleaning and replacing the damaged polarizer, we move onto applying new adhesive to glue the new glass to the repaired LCD.
Removing the protective layer from the double-stick LCA adhesive.
The LCD is placed in a mold to align the glass on top perfectly.
This is the LCD with glass perfectly placed and ready to be pressed.
Step 3: The LCD with the new glass is placed into another mold for pressing in our machine.
LCD and glass are placed into the machine very carefully.
Step 4: The machine now presses the new glass onto the LCD and seals them together without human error.
Step 5: Then we place it into a vacuum chamber to remove any air bubbles. iPhone glass repair must be finalized like this or the LCD will not function correctly.
Just like brand new!!!
